About the Author

BECK MICHAELS is the bestselling author of the enchanting young adult fantasy series, The Guardians of the Maiden, and The Chronicles of Urn. She has been working on the Guardians series since she was sixteen years old, so she’d like to believe her characters exist in some tangible dimension, even if it’s only in her imagination. For her, the best books are the ones with characters that pull on your heartstrings. Consequently, she’s always looking for ways to collect tears from her readers. Beck currently lives in Indiana with her husband and two children, where she spends most of her time reading and daydreaming of adventures in faraway lands.
