Beck Michaels Shop

The shop specializes in selling personalized books written by Beck Michaels. In addition to books, the shop also carries curated merchandise inspired by the author's series. From art prints, and mugs adorned with iconic characters to enamel pins, plush toys and collectibles, the store offers a variety of items that are perfect for fans.

FULFILLMENT POLICY

Processing times can take up to 7-15 business days for items currently in stock. When an order is fulfilled, you will receive a fulfillment notice with a tracking number for USPS (local). Pre-orders may take up to six months of delivery from the date of the order, unless otherwise stated with email notice. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking number to process.

All items in the same order will ship together unless ordered separately. Example: if purchasing items currently in stock with a pre-order item, your order will ship when the pre-order item becomes available.

SHIPPING

The shop is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your tracking information shows the package as delivered but it has not arrived, please contact the shipping carrier for help locating the missing package.

Should a order be returned to us due to an incorrect address, and the purchaser has not submitted a Change of Address Form prior to shipping the item, the purchaser is liable for the shipping cost to reship the item. The shipping cost is waved if the address was entered incorrectly by the sender.

International shipments may require import fees or VAT on delivery per policy of the carrier. The store has no control over this and we cannot waive or reimburse fees. By placing an international order, the consumer becomes responsible for those fees.

Please allow at least 3-6 weeks for delivery for all merchandise. For pre-orders of special edition books and book boxes, please allow at least 3-6 weeks for delivery from the received fulfillment notification after the release date.

CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY

If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us using the Contact Form and provide us with your name, email, and order number. Once we receive your request, we will notify you via email within 1-2 days during business days whether a cancelation qualifies for your order.

If your order does qualify for a cancelation, and it has not been shipped yet, a full refund will be administered. However, once an order is shipped, the order must be returned first for an equal exchange of the same item.

Full refunds will be issued for orders canceled prior to shipment. If returning a product after shipment, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item only, plus any applicable taxes to your original form of payment if returned within 15 days. The cost of shipping will not be refunded.

Once a refund has been given, the funds may take 3-7 business days to appear in your account.

Exclusive Editions: The store has a one exclusive edition copy per person policy. We reserve the right to cancel orders that attempt to bypass this rule. If more than one person is shipping to the same address, names and emails must be different. Contact us for help with any questions or concerns.

Book Box Pre-orders: Cancelations must be emailed within 48 hours of pre-ordering. Unfortunately, cancelations will not be accepted after and are considered final sale. This policy also extends to any orders with printing and/or shipping delays, as these are unforeseen circumstances and out of our hands. 

RETURNS

In the event you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please complete the returns form below within a maximum of 7 days from receiving your order. Include your order number and contact information as well as a brief description of the issue. If reporting damages, include pictures along with the title(s) affected.

The returned item must arrive in our office first for inspection prior to providing any refund. All returned items must be in their original condition and packaging to qualify. The shop cannot refund/credit/replace an order after 15 days from the original ship date for local orders and 30 days for international.

Shipping fees: the cost associated with sending an item back for a return are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

Consumer error: If an order is returned due to entering the incorrect address, consumer must cover the shipping cost to resend. If a package is returned due to an issue with delivery outside of our control, or lost by the carrier, consumer must cover the shipping cost and return fees (if applicable) to resend your package.

Damages: If you think that your books are damaged, please email us at info@beckmichaels.com and include pictures with a description of the damages. Please note, shipping damage may not qualify for auto-replacement. We do our best to keep books snug and protected in a bubble bag, however we have no control over how the packages are handled once they leave the shop.

Our replacement policy is valid for 7 days from the point of delivery. If 7 days have gone by since you have received your order, without communication, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Exchanges (if applicable): We only replace items if they are defective or damaged prior to shipping. To return or exchange your product, send us an email at info@beckmichaels.com after ensuring the above damage criteria is met, and we will advise you where to mail your item and the appropriate steps for your return.

Non-returnable Items: Personalized books cannot be returned. If you have received a book that is signed with the wrong name, a new book with the correct name will be sent to you.

If you selected to have your book personalized and it arrived without personalization, a bookplate will be sent to you. We do not cover the cost to return books for personalization.

Other items that don’t qualify for a return or exchanges include: B-Grade merchandise and clearance books.

Placing a chargeback will result in the consumer losing the ability to order from Beck’s shop in the future. By placing an order with us, you agree to our fulfillment and refund policy as outlined above. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you.

DISCOUNTS

Discount codes are not applicable on exclusive book boxes, exclusive editions, and cannot be stacked with BOGO deals. Discount codes are limited to one use per person.

Freebie offers: the total balance at checkout must meet the minimum cost before tax and shipping to qualify.

BOGO deals: Check listing for full details. Free item must be of equal value or less of the sale item.

Print BOGO deals: For every four prints purchased, an additional fifth print can be selected for free. A window will pop up when adding prints to cart where the consumer can write down which print they want. The free print selection must be a $5 print of size 5x7 inches. This offer excludes holographic prints and prints within print packs.

PRE-ORDER INCENTIVES

To ensure fairness and equal distribution of swag (free prints and pins), we have implemented a policy limiting one swag gift per person. This policy applies to all book pre-orders, regardless of the number of orders placed. This also applies to the street team.

Please note that this policy is in place to prevent individuals from taking advantage of the opportunity to accumulate excessive amounts of swag. We want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to receive one.
