How long does it take to fulfill regular orders?
Fulfillment averages 7-15 business days. Shipping takes 1-2 weeks for US and 4-8 weeks for international. Even if you received a fulfillment email, I drop off orders at the post office on Friday and Saturday.
Fulfillment times vary with pre-orders. Please check listing for the estimated ship-by date or release date. Keep in mind, if you place a pre-order with other shop items, everything in your order will ship together when the pre-order item is available.
I placed an order but have not received an order confirmation or shipment confirmation.
Sometimes confirmation emails are sent to your spam folder. Please check there first, and if it’s not there, then contact us.
What if my item arrived damaged or I would like to make a return?

What if I need help accessing my profile account or updating information?
If you have forgotten your log in/password, you can update that information from the log in page. You can also create a new account with the same email address and your past order information will appear.
Unfortunately, we are not able to manually update payment information, shipping address, and email addresses. This is to protect your privacy and ensure that your account details are secure.
To update your payment information, log into your profile, delete your previous card information and enter your new card. Likewise, with you shipping address, you can log in and update it.
However, email addresses cannot be changed. You will need to create a new account.
My delivery address changed after I placed an order. Can I update it?
Of course, simply fill out a change of address form with your new information. If your order already shipped and was returned due to incorrect address, you will need to cover the cost to reship.
Will you restock any past exclusive edition boxes?
Starting 2023, the book boxes will not be restocked unless there are extras left over after the initial pre-order.
Is there a waitlist to order exclusive editions?
Yes! Check the listing to sign up for the waitlist. The best way to keep up to date and get early access to future pre-orders is to join my newsletter. Once you’ve pre-ordered a box, you are automatically added to my VIP list and will get first access before everyone else. Please make sure to whitelist my email so you don’t miss out on any future notifications.
When will my book box pre-order ship?
Shipping times vary from up to 3-6 months from the estimated ship date. Please keep in mind I am one person organizing the merchandize and packaging hundreds of orders while balancing a full-time author career and taking care of my family. With the demand increasing, the wait times can be longer. I do my best to ship in a timely manner but sometimes there are delays. I appreciate your patience.
I ordered a personalized book but it arrived unsigned. What can I do?
I sign so many books, sometimes I miss one. Sorry about that!
Ship it back to my PO Box and I will have your book signed and returned as soon as possible. If you prefer not to ship it back, I can also send you a bookplate. Email us at info@beckmichaels.com for further assistance.
Do you ship internationally?
You can find the list of international countries I ship to HERE. If you don’t see your country, contact us to add it! Since we do not collect VAT checkout, international orders may add import fees at time of delivery.
Why is my tracking number not working?
This is a problem mostly seen with my international orders. We use a special carrier service when shipping overseas to save on the cost of shipping. The first tracking number sent to customers to a processing center. When your package is picked up by an international mail carrier, they assign a new tracking number, so the first one becomes void. I missed out on previous character candles. Is there a way to get them?
Contact Wicks by Pearl to see if they will make the first set of Cassiel, Dyna, or Zev candles for you. Nightshade Co has a line of Guardians of the Maiden candles as well and the scents are nearly identical.
Can I return, cancel, or exchange a box?
Cancelations are not accepted 48 hours after an order has been placed for a book box preorder. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return or provide exchanges. For unforeseen delays past the estimated shipping window, please contact us.
Can I place a box or store item on hold?
Per our policy, we are not able to offer holds on any store item and we do not hold onto purchased orders.
How can I join the VIP List?
The VIP list is reserved for those who have purchased an exclusive edition book box, and they will receive first access to the store for every subsequent book box pre-order. By purchasing the next book box, you are automatically added to the list.
Will you do more boxes again in the future?
Yes, I plan to do an exclusive edition box for each book in the Guardians of the Maiden series.
