Hey reader, welcome to the barracks of the street team, aka the Guardian Squad! So grab your helmet and your sword and line up.
If you are wondering what a street team is, it’s simply a group of people coming together to spread the word about something they are passionate about. In this case, the Guardians of the Maiden book series, and now the Chronicles of Urn.
SQUAD MISSION
The Guardian Squad’s main mission is to help spread the word about these books. This can be done by many ways. First, fulfilling team duties like sharing book teasers, cover reveals and art reveals (your social media must be public). Other ways that help include recommending the series to your friends who love reading fantasy, preordering or buying the books on release week, requesting the books be added to libraries and bookstores. The best way to share is through social media. Boost my posts and share them, post your own book features about the series, and simply sharing your love for the books. Share interviews, blog posts, and join book tours. Review the books as soon as possible with your (honest) thoughts.
The main thing is to have fun!
WHAT ARE THE SQUAD PERKS?
As a member, you’ll receive early sneak peeks, swag, and take part in exclusive giveaways. This year we opened a Facebook group for the team to keep up to date on street team activities, behind the scenes book news like new art and snippets, chat with me, and hang out with other fans. And Squad members will have the chance to apply for early copies of my upcoming books (ARCs).
Please note, I will have a set number of ARCs exclusively for the Squad. Before release, there will be a form to apply for an ARC, but keep in mind quantities are limited to participating members.
